How Does Dental Teeth Bonding Work?

The first step of the bonding procedure is to isolate the damaged tooth to prevent moisture and saliva from interfering with the process.

Next, we apply a mild phosphoric acid to the surface of your tooth. This process, also known as acid etching, significantly improves the resin’s bonding strength. After 15 seconds have passed, we remove the acid and apply a liquid bonding resin to the tooth. Then, we gradually apply a composite resin on top. The resin is shaped and then cured using a special blue light. Additional layers are applied as needed to create the right form.
